We are a student-ran enterprise! This means our students will welcome you, serve you and make your food and drinks.
Breward’s is an independent coffee shop owned and operated by Homefield College.
At Breward’s, our students focus on good customer service and hospitality. Skills they learn in the coffee shop include:
- Food preparation
- Serving drinks
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Using the till and money handling
- Taking orders
- Functional IT skills
- Stock check
- Health and safety
Homefield College is a local Specialist College working with young adults with learning and communication needs, helping them to gain skills, qualifications and employment.
Breward’s Coffee Shop provides valuable experience for our students to develop their employability skills in a real workplace environment.
